There's two issues as I understand it:
- embedded copies of third-party code
- lack of source for some of them

The former is not necessarily RC, and I'm not thrilled about ignoring
the latter.  Not to mention we're months away from freeze, so this isn't
the time to consider stretch-ignore tags, there's plenty of time to fix
bugs still.

I will try to fix the serious bugs in the next time. Just get a new notebook after my workstation crashed...
