Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: rm ogre-1.8 is superseded by ogre-1.9, and its maintainer has indicated that doing the libstdc++ transition for it would be a waste of time <https://bugs.debian.org/791222>. I suggest dropping it from testing. Its reverse dependencies have all been removed from testing already, due to RC bugs about porting to ogre-1.9 (and one additional FTBFS). smcv@coccia:~$ dak rm -R -n ogre-1.8 -s testing Will remove the following packages from testing: blender-ogrexml-1.8 | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7 | all libogre-1.8-dev | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7 | ppc64el libogre-1.8-dev | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7+b1 | amd64, armel, armhf, i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390x libogre-1.8.0 | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7 | ppc64el libogre-1.8.0 | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7+b1 | amd64, armel, armhf, i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390x libogre-1.8.0-dbg | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7 | ppc64el libogre-1.8.0-dbg | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7+b1 | amd64, armel, armhf, i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390x ogre-1.8 | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7 | source ogre-1.8-doc | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7 | all ogre-1.8-tools | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7 | ppc64el ogre-1.8-tools | 1.8.0+dfsg1-7+b1 | amd64, armel, armhf, i386, mips, mipsel, powerpc, s390x Maintainer: Debian Games Team <pkg-games-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org> ------------------- Reason ------------------- ---------------------------------------------- Checking reverse dependencies...
