fwiw, this appears not to have made it to debian-release.

None of those cleanups appear to have ever been mentioned in the
changelog. The diff as provided also doesn't include the changelog
stanza for the proposed upload - assuming that a rebuild on jessie
exactly matches the diff you attached other than that, please go ahead
as 5.2.10~deb8u1.
