The upload of ntfs-3g (1:2015.3.14AR.1-1) started a transition.
The library is included in the ntfs-3g binary package and the soname is
tracked via Provides, so this did not cause an automatic tracker to be set up.
(Shouldn't this be a RC bug in ntfs-3g?)

At least the following packages are affected and need binNMUs:
  partclone
  testdisk

Ben file:

title = "ntfs-3g";
is_affected = .depends ~ /libntfs-3g\d+/ ";
is_good = .depends ~ "libntfs-3g861";
is_bad = .edos-debcheck ~ /uninstallable/;
# a bad library would be libntfs-3g853

Andreas
who is not involved with ntfs-3g beyond noticing the piuparts failures
it causes :-)

Thanks for noticing, tracker created. Looks like this is just partclone and
testdisk again.

Yes, we've been here before (sigh).

Laszlo: I am no longer prepared to work around breakage by ntfs-3g. Either
you handle it like a library, or you stop other packages treating it like
one.

At the very least you might have the decency to ask for a transition
slot and work with us on the binNMUs like other maintainers manage to do.

Scheduled.
