I have to admit that (as a Jessie GNOME user) I don't recall ever being
hit by any of those bugs.
However, the fixes don't look entirely crazy. On that basis, please feel
vaguely encouraged to tell pkg-gnome they can upload (with a fixed-up
changelog).
One note:
+ It deserves to be applied in Jessie because it will and have caused users
