Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition Dear Release Team, I would like to request a transition slot for the openconnect package. The upcoming version 6.00 will come with a new library soname bump to libopenconnect.so.3. The 6.00 version has not been released yet, but I have already packaged and uploaded the 5.99 release candidate to experimental for testing. The reverse dependencies are only the source packages network-manager- openconnect and plasma-nm. Both of these will likely require sourceful uploads to make use of the library API changes. I maintain network-manager-openconnect, so I plan on working on the necessary changes to it next, and I will look into what is needed for plasma-nm as well. Ben file: title = "openconnect"; is_affected = .depends ~ "libopenconnect2" | .depends ~ "libopenconnect3"; is_good = .depends ~ "libopenconnect3"; is_bad = .depends ~ "libopenconnect2"; Thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental'), (1, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.12-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash
