Bug#750757: wheezy-pu: package mobile-broadband-provider-info/20140317-1~deb7u1

The mobile-broadband-provider-info package should really be kept up to

A request was sent to the maintainers[1] a while ago but no updates
have been provided so far.

Attached debdiff is all is needed to get the current version in jessie
functional in wheezy, yay a changelog entry!

What does the debdiff between current wheezy and the new package look like, given that's what we'd be accepting? :)

Would it be possible to get it into stable?

Hmmm. As you mentioned -updates, rather than just p-u - how often do upstream make releases? The git repo in the package's Homepage field has relatively recent changes, but no tags or suggestions of releases since 2012.

TIA.

(I'd also be interested in getting this into oldstable, but not sure
if you want to shut that part down already. Can file a separate bug if
you tell me it's still open, changewise a downgrade to debhelper 8 is
all it needs.)

It is right now. I need to go through the remaining requests and then decide on a cut-off once we've got the point release dates sorted.

Regards,

Adam
