The following packages build just fine against the libx264-142 on my
amd64 workstation:
xpra
gst-plugins-ugly1.0_1.2.3-2
handbrake
jitsi
libav
libquicktime
opal
The following FTBFS:
gst-plugins-ugly0.10 (#741848, unrelated to this transition)
vlc seems to fail to build for reasons unrelated to x264 - possible
there is something screwed up in my build system:
configure.ac:31: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_SILENT_RULES
If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.ac:4140: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_CONFIG_FILES
configure.ac:4187: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_COND_IF
autoreconf: /usr/bin/autoconf failed with exit status: 1
