Bug#704032: Transition to 1.55

Hi,

1.55 has been in testing for a month now and has somewhat better support for 
recent glibc -- e.g. it doesn't suffer from .#739807 and #739904.  

I'd like to switch the boost-defaults to 1.55.  Any objections?
