I filed the bug #773005 now. Do you need that I do anything more? No; I've fixed up the versions and tags for you. > Please, consider this package in Jessie. I think that a WhatsApp communication is very important and useful to a modern operational system. I feel that you liked this package and idea. To clarify: I'm not looking favourably on this package. I really do think this is better removed from Jessie. The difference between the versions is huge and invasive, and we're just not at that stage any longer. It's not clear what the future of Whatsapp will be, and we don't want to be patching up the API again in a point release (or even removing entirely). I'm sorry, and I realise you'll be disappointed, but this is really isn't a good fit for Jessie. I intend to remove it in a few days, unless I can be convinced otherwise.
