Hello Adam,

No it wasn't discussed with the release team. Sorry for any
inconveniences, if I should have done this!

I just followed the instructions in section 5.13.3 of the developers
reference which basically says to upload first and then contact the
release team for approval after it was successfully built.

I will probably upload the package in Sid today, the RC bug-fix is
already merged in the Git repository.
