I filed #770140 to remove seivot from unstable. Here's the justification:

    I'm the maintainer of seivot, and also its upstream. It has
    bit-rotted badly enough that it isn't useful anymore, and I don't
    develop it or use it upstream either. It should thus be removed
    from Debian: the source package and all binary packages from
    unstable.

Please remove seivot from testing/jessie. As far as I can see, it has
no reverse dependencies of any type, so it should be easy to remove.
