Bug#767266: unblock: plymouth

Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock

Hello,

I was wondering if the release team would allow to unblock plymouth if
I was adding an extra plymouth-label (or plymouth-plugin-label) package.

I know it's late, but this would allow to have 3rd party themes
installed (like the desktop base one) without pulling the
plymouth-themes package. Moving the module to the main plymouth package
is not a solution either as it pulls Xlibs and more and I would like to
keep the dependency of the main plymouth package as low as possible.

See: #767170 and #764644.

Cheers,

Laurent Bigonville
