I'd personally vote for supporting guile 1.8 for one more release, but
I'm obviously biased. I'm willing to assist in keeping it maintained,
for whatever that's worth.
I agree that we should definitely get rid of any of the packages which
can support 2.0 and don't, though. It would be ideal if the only reverse
dependency of guile 1.8 in jessie was lilypond.
