Bug#742853: mpich2 transition: oasis3 failing?

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA256

Hi,

- From https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/mpich2.html
it appears that oasis3 is one of the blockers of the mpich2 transition.
Its marked bad on mips* and s390, which use mpich rather than openmpi / lam
and hence build oasis against it.

I'm the maintainer of oasis3 and have tried a build of oasis3 against
mpich2 (mpich 3.1-4)
and it appears to work fine for me; (at least on amd64, switching from
the default MPI
of openmpi to mpich2); are build logs for mips* available?

oasis3 is in need of some refreshing. It has effectively been replaced
by oasis3-mct,
which I will package later, but thats a transition for after mpich2.

best regards
Alastair
