Hi Holger (and others),
We have decided to ignore missing source files in Wheezy and Squeeze
provided that the problem is limited to following DFSG. Should there
be any bugs where the missing source file results in a violations of
the license terms (consider licenses like the GPL), then these bugs
cannot be ignored[1].
Provided that above is followed, you are welcome to tag such bugs with
the relevant -ignore tag.
As mentioned on IRC, files found by Lintian are currently known to be
distributable in general. So as long as those files are not covered
by or included into a work covered by a license that mandates the
distribution of the source code, the bugs filed for them should be
ignorable.
