Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal Could you please nudge nss-mdns into testing? It would normally have migrated by now, but it has a transitional package on amd64 with a dependency that can only be satisfied by having i386 as a foreign architecture. This is similar to the situation for wine (which I expect is the reason why 99% of lib32nss-mdns users have it). This solution was recommended in <https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2013/11/msg00007.html>. I recognise that this is ugly, and I look forward to being able to drop it after jessie. S

The side effect being that if lib32nss-mdns becomes actually uninstallable at some point, even with i386 enabled, britney won't notice. Cheers, JulienAttachment: signature.asc
