It's possible. But hopefully there's nothing wrong with 3D support?
BTW kfreebsd-* is not a special case here. I doubt GNOME is fully
functional in all the architectures it's being built for. IIRC last time
I tried it on mipsel I had to fix a few serious problems that had gone
undetected for years due to lack of testing.
