I have an interest in debian on arm devices. My main interest in such
devices
is for their ability to act as (relatively) low power gateways between
embedded hardware and networks such as the internet.
I helped with bringing armhf up to release architecture status through
fixing
build failures and then once testing migration started pushing on
uninstallability and outdated package in testing issues.
Recently my efforts have been focussed on running raspbian which is a
rebuild
of debian armhf with reduced minimum CPU requirements. I do not know how
much time I can commit to the official arm ports over the next release
cycle
but would hope to stay involved with them at some level.
While I did manage to port freepascal to armhf I do not have any deep
knowlege
of toolchain internals and thus can't really help on the toolchain side.
