The reason is that the package > libaqbanking-plugins-libgwenhywfar47 got renamed to > libaqbanking-plugins-libgwenhywfar60, but (intentionally) no other package > depends or recommends the package libaqbanking-plugins-libgwenhywfar60. There seems to be some confusion: Package: libaqbanking34 Recommends: libaqbanking34-plugins, libaqbanking-plugins-libgwenhywfar60 Isn't this enough to bring in the right version of the plugin? It did in my test of a squeeze system with libaqbanking29 installed, followed by aptitude full-upgrade (with Recommends enabled, perhaps that's significant?): The following NEW packages will be installed: libaqbanking-plugins-libgwenhywfar60{a} libaqbanking34{a} libaqbanking34-plugins{a} libaqhbci20{a} libaqofxconnect7{a} libgwenhywfar-data{a} libgwenhywfar60{a} I may have missed something, please correct me if so. -- Jonathan Wiltshire jmw@debian.org Debian Developer http://people.debian.org/~jmw 4096R: 0xD3524C51 / 0A55 B7C5 1223 3942 86EC 74C3 5394 479D D352 4C51 <directhex> i have six years of solaris sysadmin experience, from 8->10. i am well qualified to say it is made from bonghits layered on top of bonghits
