Indeed it would be churlish not to give our hard-working and often
un-credited translators this reward.
Provided the diff is clear and isolated, and you can get it turned around
in the next couple of days, I think I can make this exception. We do have
some room for discretion, although this exception is not a precedent.
I wonder if the recent upload of debian-reference causes you a similar
problem though?
