Unfortunately we can't do that as things are:

$ grep-excuses soprano
soprano (2.7.6+dfsg.1-2 to 2.7.6+dfsg.1-3)
[...]
    Depends: soprano redland (not considered)

The new redland package doesn't look suitable for an unblock, so either 
the dependency from soprano needs to be loosened (if appropriate), or 
this will need an update via t-p-u.
