Yes you are right.  I found a few more packages which 
should be removed.
ptex-base and jbibtex-base are completely included in 
texlive-lang-cjk so should be removed.

I believe that mendexk package should be removed also 
because of texlive-binaries.

If you need more precise information, please let me know.

And only FYI. it seems pdfjam is also included in 
texlive-extra-utils so I think we can remove it.

I'm now checking new texlive packages upgraded in testing
and find pTeX related programs work incredibly fine.
