Pandora changed their API a few weeks ago, and I'd like to upload fixed versions of pianobar / pithos for our stable users. Annoyingly, the diff[1] to switch over from the XMLRPC API to the new Pandora JSON api is rather large, and I'd rather not have to maintain such a delta from what upstream is doing. Therefore, if possible I would like to upload the updated-by-upstream versions of the respetive pacakges. This is also what has been done in Ubuntu[2]. I'm not sure if this is appropriate for squeeze-updates, or if backports would be better. As-is, the packages are entirely unusable in Squeeze, unless you wrote a custom XML-RPC server that implemented the Pandora API.
