In general, please file such requests as user-tagged bugs (e.g. via 
reportbug); that makes them much easier to track.

Changing of packaging systems isn't generally appropriate for a stable 
update. Assuming the package successfully builds in stable and the 
build-dependencies aren't actually modified in the process, please drop 
this change.
