The package ttytter

It was suggested to me that I contact the Debian Release Team about this
package. I filed a grave bug on it and ask that it be pulled from
Wheezy. The main reason at this point is it has fallen behind in
keeping up with upstream and that with the adoption of Twitter API 1.1
it is going to become unable to interact with Twitter appropriately over
time especially with regard to rate limiting and properly handling t.co
links. The upstream is working on a new version to comply with Twitter
API 1.1 but it is not yet stable and is presently at its third beta.
Details from the upstream about the beta are available here:
http://www.floodgap.com/software/ttytter/beta/

The drop-dead point for migration to Twitter API 1.1 is expected in
February 2013. Having the relatively older version currently present in
the Wheezy repository shipped would be an instance of shipping software
that will become broken in about 90 days or so from this point. The bug
is filed at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=693147

Thank you for your patience and consideration.
