This unblock request is about fixing an upgrade issue. As far as I know,
no bugs have ever been reported against dropbear about preventing other
package's hooks to work. If dropbear was stomping on some feet, it was
already doing it in Squeeze.

If you have suggestions on how to get the guarantees you seek, I'd be
happy to hear them. But I don't think thriving for perfect should leave
user systems unbootable (or hard to boot).
