Hi,

I'd like to get the latest libindicator, libindicate and libdbusmenu into
Debian before the freeze. Latest means in this case "same version as in
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS" which I hope to benefit from in the case stable-updates
should be needed at some point.

The update would include the following visible changes:
- libindicator:
    libindicator6 → libindicator7
    libindicator3-6 → libindicator3-7

- libindicate:
    gir1.2-indicate-0.6 → gir1.2-indicate-0.7
    bumped pkg-config name, again (indicate{,-gtk}-0.6 → indicate{,-gtk}-0.7)
    no soname bump otherwise

I tried rebuilding the packages that build-depend on our packages and came
to this result:

cairo-dock-plug-ins: ok
claws-mail-extra-plugins: needs updated patch, will open bug asap (build w/o patch ok)
guayadeque: needs updated patch, will open bug asap (build w/o patch ok)
indicator-applet: ok, but will get an update anyways (same reason as libs)
indicator-messages: ftbfs, will get an update anyways (same reason as libs)
indicator-session: ftbfs, will get an update anyways (same reason as libs)
libindicate-qt: ftbfs, our package, will fix together with the lib upload
openfetion: needs updated patch, will open bug asap (build w/o patch ok)
plasma-widget-message-indicator: ftbfs, our package, will fix together with the lib upload
postler: needs updated patch, will open bug asap, ftbfs
smuxi: ok
xfce4-indicator-plugin: ok

I hope you can squeeze this in somehow :)

Regards
Evgeni

From tonight's run:
| trying: libindicate
| accepted: libindicate
| …
| trying: libindicator
| accepted: libindicator

and old binaries are gone from testing.

EOT, closing. Thanks for the easy transition.

Mraw,
KiBi.
