Julien Cristau <jcristau@debian.org> (08/05/2012): > *sigh* apparently you uploaded this to sid without even waiting for an > answer, so we now have an uncoordinated libmysqlclient SONAME bump on > our hands... From a quick look at packages mentioned in level 1 of the transition page[1], at least those FTBFS: facturlinex2_2.2.0-1.dsc grass_6.4.1-2.dsc libnss-mysql-bg_1.5-2.dsc mod-auth-mysql_4.3.9-13.dsc opennebula_3.2.1-2.dsc Some of them with clear messages like: | checking for MySQL libraries... configure: error: Cannot locate MySQL libraries. Try using --with-mysql=DIR or | configure: error: MySQL libraries not found! Don't tell us you made sure your reverse build dependencies were building fine, that can't be true. Some of them are failing due to gcc 4.7 bugs. Matthias, again, your unilateral, uncoordinated decision to switch to gcc 4.7 is making our job more difficult than it is. Thank you so much. Not.
