In general, I agree. In this case I believe the current behaviour is
so bad that it is better to change it also in stable.
I leave it to the release managers to decide if a fix to stable only
should change the 'success' logging to use syslog or log both success
and failures to syslog. Both will solve the problem for Debian Edu.
It would be nice if a quick decision could be made, to fix this
problem soon for Debian Edu. :)
