Source: commit-tool
Version: 0.4-4
Severity: important
User: debian-python@lists.debian.org
Usertags: python2.4-removal

Recent python-defaults disabled support for Python 2.4 already, so it
is no longer supported version for module and extension building.

This package depends on one or more packages built on top of the
python2.4 source package, and will be uninstallable when they will be
removed from Sid and Squeeze.

A simple no-change sourceful upload of this package should be enough
to automatically remove these dependencies. When at it, you should
also checking if code is compatible with newer releases of Python.
These links explain changes introduced and should ease your work:

The previous mail said (in part):

commit-tool hasn't been in testing since late November. It was removed
precisely because of #557652 (and #558592).

I'm therefore closing the bug against release.d.o

Adam
