Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: freeze-exception I just uploaded p-common 113 to fix http://bugs.debian.org/604423 . Right now, when upgrading from lenny to squeeze, the PostgreSQL "obsolete version 8.3" debconf note says to upgrade to 9.0, but 9.0 isn't in testing, only in unstable. The reason is that the "supported_versions" map still treated "testing" and "unstable" in the same case. Sorry about having forgotten about this for so long! I now treat "testing/6.0" and "unstable" in separate cases and only support 9.0 in unstable, so that in a lenny -> squeeze upgrade the debconf note now shows "8.4" as currently supported version. I tested this in a lenny chroot. The patch is straightforward: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~pitti/postgresql/common/revision/1035 and there are no other changes in this package compared to version 112. Can this still make it into testing, please? Thank you, and have a nice weekend!
