Yes, there is a particular reason. 3.2.8 fixes quite some bugs over 3.2.6 but
does not introduce new features. Here's ustream's changelog:
VMM: properly terminate the VM with an error if the guest is trying to switch to the PAE mode but PAE is disabled in the VM settings
GUI: switch to native file dialogs (Windows hosts only; bug #5459)

Our 3.2.8 upload unfortunately was delayed due to my vacation and then the
freeze came in before it could hit squeeze but I would prefer to not release
squeeze with a more buggy older version of virtualbox.
