Now that the python-defaults upload setting the default version to 2.6
has migrated to testing, can we consider this transition complete and
close this tracking bug?

I notice that there are still a number of usertagged bugs that are
unresolved but wasn't sure whether your criterion for the transition was
simply "python 2.6 as default" or also having a "small enough" set of
related issues.
