It seems that there is a similar problem with elmerfem, it has been
modified to build against vtk 5.4, but mips had only vtk 5.2 at that
time and build failed.
If I parse Dominique's command right, this one should work:
  gb elmerfem_5.5.0.svn.4388.dfsg-1 . mips
