The diff even had the wrong version number, as it was based on http://people.debian.org/~jak/debian/stable/, where I keep some patches and backports for stable i386. > * We don't really support ext4 in Lenny anyway So, should I come back when we are going to do Lenny and a half? I was just asking now because I could forget it when Lenny and a half starts. But if we are going to freeze Squeeze in December, Lenny and a half must either happen within in the next months or stopped. > but mainly: > * This will (AFAICT) create problems for translations, which aren't > included. Better a missing translation than a missing trash (or more or less missing, as the files are still moved to the trash, but you can not delete them afterwards). I also don't know which programs really use these strings. You could add translations for almost all languages by copying the msgstr for Ext3 and replace it with ext4. And the ext4dev and btrfs parts could be removed from the patch, as I don't think anybody uses them. -- Julian Andres Klode - Free Software Developer Debian Developer - Contributing Member of SPI Ubuntu Member - Fellow of FSFE Website: http://jak-linux.org/ XMPP: juliank@jabber.org Debian: http://www.debian.org/ SPI: http://www.spi-inc.org/ Ubuntu: http://www.ubuntu.com/ FSFE: http://www.fsfe.org/
