I briefly tested policykit 0.9 together with policykit-gnome 0.8, and so far it seems to work fine. I would nonetheless support upstreams recommendation and so also ask for an unblock of policykit-gnome 0.9-1 (to avoid any subtle failures which I couldn't find with my brief testing). The debian changelog is: policykit-gnome (0.9-1) unstable; urgency=low * New upstream release. * debian/control - Bump Standards-Version to 3.8.0. No further changes. * debian/patches/03-fix_i18n.patch - Removed, merged upstream. -- Michael Biebl <firstname.lastname@example.org> Sun, 03 Aug 2008 11:13:52 +0200 And the diffstat (src changes) diff -urN PolicyKit-gnome-0.8/src/ PolicyKit-gnome-0.9/src/ | diffstat Makefile.in | 6 + polkit-gnome-auth-dialog.c | 84 +++++++++++++++++++++++-- polkit-gnome-auth-dialog.h | 13 ++- polkit-gnome-manager-glue.h | 4 - polkit-gnome-manager.c | 144 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++----------- 5 files changed, 202 insertions(+), 49 deletions(-) Cheers, Michael -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
