Please unblock ssmtp 2.62-2.1. Fixes #345780, which Holger already raised to RC but I thought to still ask. This bug concerns long text line handling in message bodies. http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5321#section-4.5.3.1.6 puts a soft limit on line length, but an implementation should still deliver those long lines, or gracefully decline all messages containing them. What ssmtp currently does is to die noisily whenever there's a leading dot in a long line or, at best, break up long lines with extra \r\n pairs whenever it fills up its buffer (currently at 2k). Altering sent emails like this is an issue, even if it's a bit of a fringe case.
