Feel free to fix the bugs. 

Downgrading isn't an option. We don't downgrade bugs just because we're
too lazy to fix them. Or do you really think we could release Lenny with
e.g. a bug that causes 100% CPU usage? (Or any of the other two RC bugs)

The only reason for not removing packages in spite of RC bugs is if the
package is so vital for operation that we cannot remove without them.
That isn't the case here. And Release Managment isn't what we call in
German "Wunschkonzert" - sometimes, packages are just too buggy and we
need to remove them. If they're fixed in time, that's great. If not ...
