Freeze exception: refit 0.11-5
Hi,
This version of refit adds support for the new Apple laptops released
last week. Adding support means adding the correct path for the legacy
loader for this generation of hardware, so there are no code changes.
Note that this version is basically the same as refit 0.12, except
0.12 introduces support for a newer EFI graphics API alongside the one
currently used. Changes are minimal and that code is unused on current
machines as they don't implement this new API anyway.
Given this, I'd like to get refit 0.12 in Lenny if at all
possible. It's currently sitting in experimental, so you can see the
changes for yourself.
Please unblock 0.11-5 or okay the upload of 0.12-2 to unstable for
migration to Lenny. I'm fine either way, but having 0.12 in Lenny
makes it clear to the users that the newer machines are supported.
