Freeze exception: sane-backends-extras 1.0.19.11
Hi,
This version just drops the udev dependency; libsane depends on
libsane-extras and udev | makedev, so it's not needed anyway. It was a
leftover of a previous change to libsane-extras that hadn't been
removed.
This helps in cases where udev is not wanted/can't work, though all of
this will change post Lenny when we get rid of makedev entirely
(assuming that's still the plan).
Please unblock, full changelog follows.
sane-backends-extras (1.0.19.11) unstable; urgency=low
* debian/control:
+ Drop dependency on udev; udev will be pulled in by libsane anyway
(closes: #493698).
* debian/rules:
+ Remove substitution variable for udev dependency in the call to
dh_gencontrol.
* debian/libsane-extras.postinst:
+ Make postinst script set -e.
