Philipp,

Is this fixed by your latest xpdf upload for etch?

Thanks,
Hamish

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xpdf: Depends: xpdf-reader (= 3.01-9.1+etch5) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

# dpkg -l | grep xpdf
ii xpdf-common 3.01-9.1+etch4
# Portable Document Format (PDF) suite -- common files
ii xpdf-reader 3.01-9.1+etch4

ii xpdf-utils 3.01-9.1+etch4
# Portable Document Format (PDF) suite -- utilities

The amd64 box I own didn't have that problem, but on the i686, it persists
for some days now.
