Hello, GnuTLS 2.4.0 has been released today and I would like to have a 2.4.x release in lenny. The soname is unchanged to the version currently in sid and lenny.[1] Shlibs have been bumped, though. Transition to testing should be painless. Developmemt versions and release candidates have been available in experimental, proving that the package builds and correctly runs the testsuite on archs with experimental autobuilders. Rebuilding libgnutls-dev's reverse Build-Deps against the new version did not show any new or different build-errors. The timimg seems to be tight, since iirc freeze of all libraries was intended for end of June but I think it is doable. Thoughts? thanks, cu andreas [1] Some symbols were moved from gnutls-extra to gnutls, but since usage of gnutls-extra also requires direct linking to gnutls a soname bump could be averted. -- `What a good friend you are to him, Dr. Maturin. His other friends are so grateful to you.' `I sew his ears on from time to time, sure'
