I confirm that this patch fixes the problem and would be a good addition
to the next point release: I really have seen quite a lot of users being
confused by the warning (thus the recent addition of this issue to the
errata list).
Besides, this is the most simple solution possible since the another
one would be to write a conversor for devfs device names in shell and
it would be much more error prone.
My plan is to release 4.0r2 in calender week 41 or 42 of the christian
calendar. If you can make sure everything is done by that date, go
ahead.
