 Yes, this was fixed just after the 2.14.3 release with this change:

        Workaround for problem introduced on Win32 with Brian's patch
        below: If host is "127.0.0.1", don't need to check whether it is
        local. 

 I'm not sure this qualifies for an update of the stable release of
 Debian; the change seems harmless; release team: would you accept such
 a change?

 (Closing the bug for versions in sid which are higher than 1:2.14.4-1.)
