Dead links on /etc/rc?.d/ after a clean install of 'etch-RC1'
Hi,
I've just made a new installation of Debian using latest the CD image
for 'net install' (RC1). The installation was completed successfully.
This message is here to inform you that there are dead links in the
run levels 2 and 3 as it can be seen below:
teodor@inspire:~$ ls -l /etc/rc?.d/*ntp*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 2006-11-29 12:03 /etc/rc2.d/K77ntp-server ->
../init.d/ntp-server
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 2006-11-29 12:03 /etc/rc3.d/K77ntp-server ->
../init.d/ntp-server
teodor@inspire:~$ cd /etc/rc2.d
teodor@inspire:/etc/rc2.d$ ls -l ../init.d/ntp-server
ls: ../init.d/ntp-server: No such file or directory
There is no 'ntp*' package installed automatically or manually.
I don't know where else should I report this situation. If this should
be reported to someone else please forward this message to them.
Thanks
