I see that something about the kernel updates is written on the release
preparation page http://release.debian.org/stable/3.1/3.1r2/ as "About
Kernel Updates", but IMO it should also be mentioned in the actual
announcement. Maybe include a note like the following?

"Due to some technical difficulties with Debian installation methods,
the most recent security updates to the Linux kernel packages, DSA 1017
and 1018, are not included with this revision. They may be installed
afterward instead by ensuring that the usual security entries are
present in APT's /etc/apt/sources.list file,

deb http://security.debian.org/ sarge/updates main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/ sarge/updates main contrib non-free

running apt-get update, and following the steps described in the
security advisories."

On another topic, why isn't wzdftpd (DSA 1006) included in the release
announcement? It is listed as OK on the wiki page
	http://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases/PointReleases
but not listed at all on the release preparation page
	http://release.debian.org/stable/3.1/3.1r2/
For some reason it has also gone missing from the security front page
	http://www.debian.org/security/
even though it can be found at the direct URL
	http://www.debian.org/security/2006/dsa-1006
