Re: Please consider nfs-utils 1:1.0.7-3 for sarge

Anibal,

As the new nfs-utils maintainer, are you aware of the concerns the krb5
maintainer raised in bug #298920? Also, do you plan to address bug #294959
at all for sarge (perhaps with Chip's suggestion of documenting the
problem, for now)?

Since 236435 hasn't been fixed, I'm not sure how urgent it is to get the
NFSv4 nfs-utils into sarge; and if 236435 does get fixed, it would seem to
make 294959 quite a bit more important, as people are going to want to start
using it without rendering their systems unbootable.

I've reviewed the additional changes between 1.0.7-1 and 1.0.7-3, and they
generally look ok, but I'd appreciate your comments on the above outstanding
issues first.

Also...

Uh, looking at that debian/rules file, it's obvious that it wasn't a
pristine debhelper template. If you're going to assert copyright over it on
account of one-line edit, it would be nice if you would also acknowledge the
copyright of the previous maintainer. :)

Thanks,
