Since the changes mostly involve new code that's disabled by default, and the changes to existing code are relatively innocuous upon inspection, I don't have any fundamental objections to including this update in sarge. I do want to let the package age a bit more before pushing it through, to give us a better shot at picking up any security vulns *before* it's in testing rather than after. Also, since NFSv4+GSSAPI means growing a dependency on libkrb53, which is currently priority: optional, I'd like to see the priority override for libkrb53 approved by an ftpmaster before it suddenly becomes part of the default install.
