Please don't do that unless one of the lintian maintainers approved.
While fixing the security bug I have rewritten a part of the code completly
and we don't feel comfortable with allowing it to sarge too quickly. I
will try to test the new lintian on lintian.debian.org on the weekend
and perhaps we can raise the priority then...
